Brogan Davison

Brogan is a choreographer and performance maker from the UK based in Reykjavík. Brogan graduated from the Dance Theatre programme at Laban in London in 2010. She then moved to Iceland the same year and met her long-term collaborator Pétur Ármannsson, later forming the Reykjavík based award-winning collaboration Dance For Me. Since starting out in 2013, Dance For Me have performed in over fifty venues in ten different countries, making it one of the most prolific independent performance groups working in Iceland today.

Alongside her collaboration with Dance For Me, Brogan has also worked extensively as a performer, dramaturge and choreographer on various international projects and taught at numerous institutions, including The Iceland Academy of the Arts. Since 2016 Brogan has worked as a collaborator and performer for the London-based performance artist The Famous Lauren Barri Holstein on the project Notorious (2017), which has been presented at Fierce Festival, The Barbican, The Attenborough Centre for the Creative Arts (UK), Take Me Somewhere (SCT), Everybody's Spectacular Festival (IS) and Kampnagel (DE). Brogan graduated with a Master of the Arts from the Das Theatre programme at the Amsterdam University of the Arts in June 2019.
